Sursil was founded in Milan in the second half of the 1950s by Leontino Surricchio and Neva Siliprandi, who had an innovative idea at the time: to manufacture plastic packaging. The first Sursil laboratory was set up in 1958, in the basement of the building where they lived: the machinery was made up of two pedal heatsealers, which left the scene in the early 60s but are still in working order and kept in the warehouse.
The construction of the first department at the Pozzuolo Martesana site begins in 1960. Sursil begins to take care of the entire production cycle, from extrusion to printing and heat-sealing of plastic bags. In the 70's the first generational changeover takes place: the son Valdo redesigns the company organization between the 70's and the 80's and outlines the characteristics that still represent the company's strengths, i.e. wide range of articles, great speed in custom production, top quality.
In the 1990s, the foundations were laid for the first internal quality management system.
In the early 2000s, the third generation joined the company. To coincide with the passing of the baton, at the turn of the sixtieth anniversary of the founding of the business, two new company departments were inaugurated to guarantee better process management, according to the principles of lean production.
A new site is inaugurated next to the historical headquarters with a new, innovative heat sealing department. The quality management system is certified as ISO 9001:2015 by CERTIND.
Was born in Cassano d'adda, the new production plant of SURSIL SRL – SURSILBIOPACK. Audit service & certification certifies that the management system of the organization of Sursil is in compliance with the requirements of the standard 14001:2015 and 45001:2018.
In the new factory in Cassano d'adda, it takes life, the new line of flexible packaging SURSILREGENERATED with the use of recycled plastic waste-post-industrial and post-consumer.
